The splendid scenery
of the Iseo Lake

In the Zorzino Castle and the small medieval village of Gargarino you can spend a romantic holiday by one of the less known italian lake, but very fascitaning and all to be descovered.

There are nearby swimming pools, surf and sailing facilities; sci pistes and artistic itineraries in an ancient atmosphere immerse in the green of the fields in contact with nature, olive grows and vineyards.

You could taste the local cusine, buy the local oil, Franciacorta, Valcalepio and Scanzo wines, visit the farms with their tipical dairy products and other delicatessen.

A short car jurney away you can visit the archeological site of Camonica Valley with the prehistoric rock carvings, a treasure protected by UNESCO, Archeopark, the hydraulic mallets of Poltragno and Bienno, the mills of the Borlezza Valley, the precious art gallery of Tadini Accademy in Lovere, the frescos of "The Sistine Chappel of the Poors" by Romanino in the Madonna della Neve church in Pisogne.

In Gargarino you can visit the small S. Cassiano Church with frescos dated XV century, with a tipical apse turned from East to South and enjoy a breath-taking view of the Iseo Lake in a romantic oasis.
